Variants labeled “Adaptive,” “AFS,” “PDLS,” or similar are intended only for vehicles originally equipped with the corresponding factory adaptive lighting system. After installation, some original adaptive functions, such as steering-responsive movement or other electronically controlled lighting functions, may not be retained. Depending on the vehicle configuration, dashboard warnings, coding, or electronic adaptation may also be required.

These headlights are designed exclusively for BMW E92 Coupe and E93 Convertible models originally equipped with factory Xenon headlights.
- ❌ Does not fit E90 Sedan or E91 Wagon: These models use a different headlight shape.
- ❌ Does not fit factory Halogen models: The headlight connections and wiring configuration are different.
- ⚠️ Adaptive function not retained: Selecting the Adaptive Xenon variant provides the appropriate configuration for an AFS-equipped vehicle, but the original left/right adaptive movement will no longer operate.
